Tormenta

Tormenta is inspired by maritime materials, and the personal connection with sailing. The collection started with the pattern of a sail. This pattern was used for the weaving blueprints. All materials were developed in collaboration with TextileLab Tilburg. The goal was to create shape into the materials with recycled fishnet nylon. Afterwards the materials were converted into wearable designs and high fashion. The remaining materials were used to create material installations. The Tormenta 3d printed shoes were designed and produced in collaboration with Chris van den Elzen and Shapeways.

The Transparent City

The collection was inspired by geometric structures of building forest in the city featuring with concrete walls and window frame's cuts. Seo Ah Lee would like to express masculine silhouette and geometric lines through her collection. Her collection consists of 2 men's apparels and 1 women's apparel. She made them with lamb's leather and organza, the organza was developed by herself, to express geometric patterns of the building forest.

Mannerism

Since the inspiration is the Mannerism artist's approach, she did several explorations using shirts to create her own design. This process led her to create the collection that looks artistitc but still wearable. Through the shirts explorations, she found several interesting details and applied these elementsts to the silhouette, construction, and prints of the clothes. Also she did some collage becuase it reminds her of Mannerism art as well. The collage technique led her understand and create new structure of the garments.

Oriental Garden

This collection is a story about the fleeting beauty of nature which the designer has witnessed during her 6 years stay in Japan. The beauty of nature in Japan is retold by 10 carefully crafted couture dresses, a volition to state the designers point, that the beauty of a flower is something real, something one can feel, see, touch, and by reinterpreting that beauty into couture dresses. Each flowers with its own symbolism and emotion translated into vibrant colors, textures and patterns. Enter the world of Oriental Garden by Kelly Ng.

Kilt Cult

Kilt Cult is a fashion collection created by designer Fernanda Bueno for FEMMAN, her upcoming brand whose motto is to disseminate what she calls freestyle fashion. The collection, created following a study developed by Bueno during graduation, merges Brazilian and Celtic cultures and relies on striking prints, vibrant colors and genderless modeling, and builds upon a belief that clothes have no gender, sexual orientation, age or race. Wearing Kilt Cult means saying no to standardized thought and welcoming with open arms the idea of being whoever you want to be.

My Own Stadium

Geumi Lee's spring 2017 collection "My Own Stadium" is designed for type of women she aspires to be. Although this all white collection seems subtle at first, it makes a strong conceptual statement. The collection appropriates traditionally masculine details and adapts them using unique fabrics and construction techniques into sexy, sophisticated and empowering women's wear. What was once men's sportswear, becomes women's power wear. It becomes each women's own stadium
