Joy
Joy is a series of drinking glasses designed for a wide range of beverages. The series includes stemmed and stemless forms, from a shot glass of 74 mm in height to a champagne glass of 222 mm in height. Joy is made of soda glass with the automatic press method, and the single-piece press mold keeps production efficient. The form is inspired by the dried paradise palm fruit and combines natural and geometric lines. Linear engravings create a texture that is comfortable to hold. The open mouth shape also suits hot beverages.
Joy Barware Series by Sisecam has been highlighted as a grand illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Joy Barware Series earned the Platinum A' Design Award in Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design in 2024. The A' Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade which honors excellent design of pots, pans, cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, baking dishes, graters and more.
