Cloud Cotton

Cloud Cotton is a collection of lightweight winter jackets. The collection uses the DuPont Sorona bio based fiber, of which 37 percent comes from renewable plant sources such as corn sugar. A three dimensional crimp structure forms stable air pockets that hold heat, and hollow low density fibers reduce fabric weight by about 30 percent compared with conventional cotton jackets. A durable water repellent finish and taped seams limit water penetration. An integrated hood, a tapered hem with hidden drawcords and hidden pockets complete the relaxed H line cut.

The prints are produced with cyanotype photography, in which sunlight replaces a printing machine. Laser cutting gives the fabric a two-dimensional and three-dimensional effect that follows the curves of the body. The classic overall silhouette is twisted and bound. The collection is offered in variable sizes.

The Opposite questions common ideas about menswear and womenswear.
